This is a senior leadership position responsible for maintaining the highest standards of surveying practice and driving project execution.

- Review, stamp, and certify final survey plans, maps, and documents, taking legal responsibility for their accuracy and compliance with state and county regulations.
- Responsible for the comprehensive management of Survey projects, including proposal writing, meeting schedules, controlling profitability, and ensuring the quality of the work. Monitor and process financial information, including performing monthly prebill reconciliation.
- Provide advanced technical direction and oversight to Survey Crew Chiefs and Survey Technicians. Responsible for the Quality Control (QC) and validation of all collected field data.
- Coordinate with state and local municipalities to obtain proper certifications and permits. Support deed research, deed plotting, and preparation of plats and legal descriptions for right-of-way acquisition.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Perform business development activities to generate new work and collect accounts receivable (a/r's).
- Recruit, hire, manage, mentor, and retain staff necessary to maintain and/or improve the ability to produce a quality work product.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Candidates must be able to meet the following physical requirements:
- Frequent sitting for long periods while utilizing a computer and performing administrative work.
- Occasional standing, walking, and navigation on rough, uneven terrain required for site visits and project verification.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Work is performed primarily indoors in a professional office environment, with occasional travel required for project sites, client meetings, or inspections.

- Bachelor's Degree preferred OR five (5) years equivalent experience as a licensed PLS.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in land surveying/geomatics, with proven experience in project management and supervisory roles.
- Must have a high level of proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) and advanced knowledge of surveying principles, statutes, and regulations.
